Today is the day that we have been waiting for. We crossed the border into Canada. Although we have only been together nine days it feels like it has been weeks. Our hard work is finally being paid off. Going across the border was way more fun than it should have been. I felt like a little kid going to Disney World for the first time. After arriving at our beautiful campsite in Agawa Bay Provincial Park, we began the work of packing and repacking our river bags being sure to get every last thing that we needed. Later a much needed break was taken by the group as we hurled out bodies into the cool clear Lake Superior. It is an experience I will never forget and I am grateful we were able to share that together. After a fun filled day of work and play we are ready for our next adventure- taking on the Missinaibi.
